|
Winners of this state-wide competition continue on to the national competition that has been held in such places as Alaska and Long Island, New York. The competition consists of a combination of fast-paced buzzer questions and team challenge questions. Questions may include biology, chemistry, geology and physics of the oceans, as well as navigation, geography and related history and literature. The trip to the state competition, Orca Bowl, at the University of Washington, is cost-free and the prizes are generous.
